Are La Marine sandals genuinely sea-waterproof? Yes, they are! The core concept of La Marine sandals is their ability to withstand both water and sun. The high-quality polyester braids and rubber outsoles are completely immune to damage from salt water and dry very quickly. You can confidently wear them on the beach or right into the water.
How do La Marine sandals fit, and how do I choose the right size? Generally, La Marine sandals run true to size. Because the polyester braid is flexible, it will gently stretch and break in to match the anatomy of your foot within a few days of wear. If you are between sizes or have very narrow feet, we usually recommend sizing down. Please refer to our size guide for precise measurements.
How do I clean and maintain my braided sandals? It is incredibly simple. For the classic braided models, just hand-wash them using lukewarm water and mild soap (like Marseille soap). Let them air-dry naturally in the shade. Tip: Never dry them near a heater or any intense direct heat source.
